Backcountry Outreach Crew

The Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association (CBMBA) is looking for personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and outgoing individuals to add to our CB Conservation Corps (CBCC) crews as our Backcountry Outreach Crew.  We are seeking two individuals working 16-20 hours each weekend, focused on Friday thru Sunday, to provide education and outreach at busy trailheads and parking locations from June 21st thru August 11th.  Potential candidates should have a knowledge of the recreation opportunities and amenities of the greater CB area, have excellent conversation skills, and provide a positive presence as an ambassador of the area.  Duties will also include collecting data from outreach experiences, reporting to partners and stakeholders, and stewardship work on the Maroon Bells trailhead/bathroom.  Compensation at $23/hr – negotiable with experience/qualifications.
