Calling Volunteers

Fat Bike Worlds is only 16 days away! Have you been training? Has your training mostly consisted of drinking beer? Then you’re the person for us!

CBMBA needs volunteer course marshals for the races on Saturday (the World Champs on the East Side Nordic Trails/golf course) and Sunday (the Townie Crit in the Town of CB). Duties include directing traffic, communicating by radio with race HQ, setting out flags/barriers, cheering, and having fun!

On Saturday, you do have to ski/fat bike out to most stations, but you can make it a party by bringing friends, food, libations, music, a fire pit . . . your imagination’s the limit! In the past people have even built booters and table tops. We’d love to have your help making Fat Bike Worlds the party of the winter.

On Sunday, the new Winter Townie Crit should be a riot. Watch as people slip and slide their way through town’s streets and alleys for 45 minutes of ripping townie fun. Just don’t forget to also move barriers and stuff.
