Colorado Public Lands Day

May 18, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Saturday, May 18 is Colorado Public Lands Day!

While CBMBA had intended to host a trail work day on Roaring Judy trail, anyone who’s looked outside in the last few days knows that we are still buried under a lot of snow in Crested Butte. Even looking for other trail projects to work on, it’s just not feasible right now.

So, with great regret, we need to cancel trail work for May 18. But wait! We have an alternative for you!

With the big snow, there is A LOT of debris scattered around town. The Town of Crested Butte is hosting a town-wide clean-up on May 18. Please join CBMBA as we help the Town of CB take care of our public spaces! Areas of focus will include Red Lady Open Space, the gravel pit/Deli Trail/bike park, the Rec Path bridge and Big Mine Park.

Part of stewarding our lands is cleaning them up and maintaining them for the generations to come.

Plus, you’ll even get free lunch at Donita’s.

Meet at CB Town Hall at 9 a.m. Bring gloves, water, and sun protection.
