Join CBMBA and Adaptive Sports Center and Frank’s Deli @ Creative Catering on a special trail workday
What: You know that part of Lupine with first big wooded eroding corner in the trees (if you’re riding west)? We’re going to fix it so it’s wide enough for adaptive riders, which will also make it more sustainable in the long-run. We’ve got some armoring to do! With an army of volunteers, we can fix it in one evening. See the worksite image below.
When: Wednesday, July 20th, 4-7pm.
Where: Lupine 1 Cul-de-sac. There is NO PARKING on Saddle Ranch Ranch Road. So ride or hike up to the Lupine 1 Trailhead (Staging) or park on Washington Gulch Road. Golden Eagle (AKA, Doug Bradbury, our President) will be running a van shuttle from the bottom of Saddle Ranch Road to the top.
Details: We’ll be carrying out 8′ x 6″ x 6″ treated lumber for armoring and fixing the eroding corning in the alpine tree section of Lupine 1.
What To Bring: Work gloves, long pants, hat, boots or sturdy shoes, backpack for items you want on the trail, water and snacks for Saturday (we recommend you carry 2 liters on trail), sunscreen, camping gear and warm clothes for Saturday night.
What We Supply: Tools, water, prizes, and food after catered by Frank’s Deli @ Creative Catering.
