CLOSED for Season

8/23/20: Closed for the season

Good To Go

The snow plug by Emerald Lake has melted out and the road is ridable and drivable! We don’t recommend shuttling 401, as the road is narrow and does not handle traffic well.

6/22/20: Go through, not around, the muddy spot on the climb. Enjoy the ride! PLEASE respect the speed limit, and the human and vehicular traffic in Gothic.  It’s easy to let it rip down that hill, but the Gothic Townsite is a busy place.

6/17/20: The singletrack climb from the top of Schofield Pass is still wet, snowy, and slippery! Still best as an out and back!
