Good To Go

7/15/19: Good to go – whole loop riding (with Carbon and Green Lake)

7/8/19: Good to the saddle, then some snow and trees (we’ll get to them) on the way to Carbon.  Still snow on Carbon – so the loop is not doable yet.

Riding like a champ – if looking to get your skills on, get used to a new bike, or going for your first ride… the Bike Park and the Beginner trail/loop are the best place to start!

5/24: Good to go.  Mad love to Raynor Czwerwinski for cutting out mad trees on the loop!

Good To Go

7/11/19: Good to Go!

6/21/19: Open, but a big tree in the trail. Some water – please ride/hike through it – not around it.  Set good examples.  We’ll get the CBCC out there asap to cut that big’un.

The Bike Park at CBMR is now the Crested Butte Mountain Bike Park and full trail report and conditions/details for the goods up there can be found at: CBMR

Good To Go
Good To Go

5/15/19: Rode the Devine-Bridges-Upper loop today. Cut abut 10 trees. There are maybe 15 snow patches, only 5 or so are large. Most of the snow patches are super small and will be melted within a day or so, no mud around any of these. This loop is totally doable right now! Devine is 100% Bridges is 95% and the “old upper” is about 90%

Good To Go

7/11/19: Good to Go! Good Luck to Grin and Bear It runners.

7/5/19: Good up until the Carbon intersection. Ride/Hike the mud and snow, don’t go around please.

6/13/19: Still super duper closed. This trail is on private land. Please respect the closure to protect our access into the future.

Good To Go

PLEASE Folks… NO Parking, not even Shuttling to the Lupine 1 start – you must hike or bike into Saddle Ridge.  And parking along Gothic Road – also not a good option.  Do the right thing – access only via muscle power!

6/3: Jam’ on it!  Good to go. Look for the CBCC out there tightening it up – so many thanks to the Land Trust and the Town of CB for this amazing amenity.

7/19/19: Good to Go!

7/15/19: melted out but still lots of mud,

7/8/19: Close, oh so close.  Mad love to Kelly Brooks from Paonia for doing the annual Dyke tree cutting out, still some snow at the first creek crossing, and some mud along the trail, but another week and it should be good to go!

7/14/19: Good to go! Lily Lake trail still not recommended

7/1/19: Good to the Y and a bit of the ways into the dark timber, then snow.

Good To Go

6/19/18: Snodgrass RIDES!

5/25: Nope, no way, no how!

Good to Go - as an out/back

7/11/19: For sure riding as out and back from Judd Falls. No new updates from Schofield Pass as of the post on the 4th. Facebook Post.   Please just ride as an out and back – mad damage is done by trudging through snow and mud just to HAVE to do the loop.  Out and back is so awesome, and you don’t include doing damage to valuable resources.

6/27/19: Wednesday Workday (yesterday) on lower 401, just lower 401 to Rustler Gulch… is close. Still some snow.

6/18/19 – Going to be awhile. A looooonnnggg while. Maybe late July?

7/14/19: Not yet – access points are open and good, but the trail itself, in the dark timber is still a lot of snow and mad mud.  Let it sit, please!

6/25/19: Be careful of downed trees (they keep falling) but otherwise it’s good to go!

6/21/19: Still pretty wet and mucky in places; would be better after a week or so of dry weather. Please let it rest. Downed trees on the Gothic side.

Good To Go

7/15/19: still too wet.  Got Obs?

6/25/19: Be careful of downed trees (they keep falling) but otherwise it’s good to go!

6/21/19: Still pretty wet and mucky in places; would be better after a week or so of dry weather. Please let it rest. Downed trees on the Gothic side.

7/15/19:  The 2nd river crossing at Farris/Canal is a bit sporty. PLEASE use caution and know what you are getting into.

7/1/19: Farris is riding.  Don’t turn right at the bottom – that Brush Creek crossing is the MUY MUY Peligroso (very stinkin’ dangerous) one!

6/13/19: The Road out to Farris is open, but the singletrack is not. If you push through to the other side, the CREEKS ARE RAGING! You need to take the Bonus/Canal back to Brush Creek Road. Do not attempt to cross the Creek.

6/10/19: Word on the street is Strand Hill proper is riding great! Keep us posted with an Observation if we got bad beta (or you have other updates to share!)

7/14/19: It’s riding, but still some sporty river crossings.  First crossing of Brush is not so bad, but the crossing at Farris/Canal is still quite sporty.  Use caution, and know you can get into trouble in that crossing.

7/1/19: Probably riding, or close to it, but DON’T attempt the crossing at the bottom – very dangerous.  If not there, the next crossing is very dangerous.  So for that, we saying it’s not riding!

6/13/19: For the love of Pete, do not ride or hike this trail yet. It’s full of snow and the CREEKS ARE RAGING. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS THE CREEK.

The rivers are running very high and fast. Please avoid all trails with river crossings!

Good To Go

7/17/19: CBCC cut it out, got water off trail, deburmed/decupped sections, and fixed some eroded sections.  RIDE it – but watch the water crossings still!  Especially at Farris/Canal if going that way home.

7/9/19: Whoa, that melted quickly!  Bear is riding, thanks to some local homies who did some water work and some tree removal, but there is still a monster tree down in a FAST section, so be careful until we can get the CBCC out there – perhaps by Thursday.

7/6/19: Still mud in woods but riding through

7/1/19: Riding the loop!  Still some mud and snow up just before the DH, so be sure to stay in it – not around it. The CBCC cut out 8 big trees – on their day off mind you – so besides the mud and bit of snow, it’s a rollin’!
