Built in 2011, the Budd Trail is a true gift from our friends at the CB Land Trust, the Town of CB, and the Budd Family. A ‘Difficult’ trail off the ‘Beginner/Easy’ Lower Loop, the Budd Trail is a way to get your climbing, roots, and rocks on for just a short jaunt off the Lower Loop, very close to Town. A peek at the heritage and roots of Crested Butte, the Budd Trail goes right through some of the Peanut Mine area and evidence is not far off the trail. It connects back with the Upper Lower from the Woods Walk and rides great both directions.
