Budd Trail

Ride Details

Difficulty: Difficult
Distance: 1.4
Avg. Time: 15 mins
Trail Type: Rock, Roots, Up/Down – Difficult

Built in 2011, the Budd Trail is a true gift from our friends at the CB Land Trust, the Town of CB, and the Budd Family.  A ‘Difficult’ trail off the ‘Beginner/Easy’ Lower Loop, the Budd Trail is a way to get your climbing, roots, and rocks on for just a short jaunt off the Lower Loop, very close to Town.  A peek at the heritage and roots of Crested Butte, the Budd Trail goes right through some of the Peanut Mine area and evidence is not far off the trail. It connects back with the Upper Lower from the Woods Walk and rides great both directions.

At Mikey’s, hand-tossed, thin-crust pizzas are lovingly made with non-GMO flour and fresh ingredients prepared daily. The result? Simple yet “real good” food. Not in the mood for pizza? Mikey’s also offers sandwiches, salads, calzones and all-day breakfast options made with cage-free eggs. Want to experience Crested Butte like those lucky enough to call it home? Grab a spot outside, watch skateboarders drop into the bowl and enjoy a slice of Mikey’s Pizza in the shadow of Mt. Crested Butte.
