Description

Notes: This trail is closed every winter until the Friday before Memorial Day for big game wintering habitat.

More fun than you ever thought you’d be allowed to have in a day, Doctor Park is a downhill that makes you whoop and holler as you’re zooming through the trees. The top of the trail is steep and littered with chunky rocks, the very bottom is sandy, with tight, rocky switchbacks. But in between? Glorious packed dirt swooping and swerving through the trees. A must-do for any mountain biker in CB ready for a fairly big day on the bike.

Dr. Park is accessed via Taylor Park Road (CR742) and Spring Creek Road, just NE of Almont.  There is a campground at the terminus of the trail (South end), and most folks park along Taylor Park Road, ride up Spring Creek Road and access the climb to the top.  Once up top, get ready for the ride of your life as you experience what it’s like to be in Star Wars!  Finish back at Taylor Park Road and the campground. Please be cautious of campers and camp speed limits.

You can also park at Harmel’s on Taylor Canyon Road, and make your loop from there, then you can finish with some libations and treats from Harmels!
