Snodgrass trail is a prime example of how the bike community and the ranching community have worked together in this area. This trail is located on both private and public lands. Late in the summer around the third weekend in August the trail closes to allow the landowners to use the land to graze cattle.
The trail rides best from east to west starting at the Snodgrass trailhead and finishing on Washington Gulch Rd. This point-to-point trail winds through Aspen groves and wildflower meadows. Ride it as an out and back or loop it with some easy road pedaling.
