Snodgrass mountain is a great non-motorized recreation amenity courtesy of the Town of Mt. Crested Butte and the Crested Butte Land Trust. Snodgrass road is a well-used route and sees enough user compaction to make it a great fat biking option. We suggest avoiding this route immediately following a storm, but a couple of days after it will be good to go!
The road is a steep out and back route that packs in some serious vert! It also pairs great with North Village and Teddy’s Trail for longer rides!
